    Recites that certain property in Wootton, Kempston and Bromham were settled on the marriage of William Whitworth and Dinah Haines, 21 Nov 1770. They had one child only, William Whitworth, who in 1807 and 1808, mortgaged said property (while his mother was still alive, who had a life interest in it) to secure £1000. Said William died in lifetime of his mother, insolvent. His property sold to pay his debts. His son (writer) underage at father's death. Mr Halloway [Hallowell] wrote requesting title deeds from Mr White and received them. Mr White's executors have received a dividend from the produce of William Whitworth's estate. Writer engages to repay as much of said debt as shall remain due within 10 years or sooner.
