    To wife Sarah - Use of all plate, linen and household in the house wherein I now dwell with full power to dispose of them to children, John and Sarah. If no disposition made, then such goods to be equally divided between children at wife's death; - £30 annuity in satisfaction of her dower, issuing out of dwelling house in Bedford, estate at Colmworth purchased of John Hillersdon, Esquire, and out of estate at Barford and payable quarterly by son; To daughter Sarah - Like annuity of £30 issuing out of messuage in Eastcotts, alias Cotton End, Cardington and adjoining close called Inland (35 acres) and another close of pasture whereon the messuage now stands (20 acres) purchased of Thomas Arnold, gentleman, payable as above; Also to wife - £10 immediately after his death, until annuity becomes due. If annuities remain unpaid 40 days after they should be paid, then wife and daughter to have the lands etc out of which said annuities are payable, until they are paid. if son sells said lands during lifetimes of mother and sister, shall give them sufficient security for their annuities to the satisfaction of Ebenezer Chandler, Bedford, gentleman, and Thomas Woodward, Bedford, brewer. To said son, John - All lands in Great Britain - Residue of goods and personal estate; Son appointed sole executor; Funeral to be directed by wife to be 'managed with a decent frugality'; to sister, Martha Stockdale's children, by Oliver Stockdale - £40 between them; To brother - £10; To children of late brother, John Taylor, deceased - £20 between them; To brother Simon Taylor's children - £20 between them; To niece Sarah Smith, alias Lyant - £5; To friend Ebenezer Chandler - £5; To the Poor of the congregation at Bedford 'commonly called Dissenters' - £5; Will made 17 Mar 1724; Proved (Bedford) 18 July 1735
