i) Anne, Lady Dowager Trevor, widow of Thomas late Lord Trevor; Thomas, Lord Trevor, eldest son of Anne; John Borret, Shoreham, Kent, Esquire; Honourable John Trevor, Inner Temple, London, Esquire, 2nd son of late Lord Trevor, and one of H M's Counsel at Law (Surviving executors of late Lord Trevor) ii) William Lowndes, Astwoodbury, Buckinghamshire, Esquire i) Have lately purchased from John T Brace and A M Brace (8 July 1731) - £1200 5s, property in Astwood i.e. - Messuage and Home Close, with Sheffords Pightle laid to the same (10 acres 1 rood 36 peck) - Close formerly called Warrens Croft with 2 pightles formerly parcel of the Green laid to the same now called Church Close (15 acres 2 roods 11 peck) - Close formerly called Church Hay and now called the Meadow (1 acre 1 rood 32 peck) - close formerly called the Rowles alias the Rolls now divided into 3 and called Fox Croft (10 acres 1 rood 15 peck) with a spinney adjoining (1 rood 20 peck), another called 5 acre close (4 acres 1 rood 20 peck) and the other called the Grove (3 acres 13 peck); East & South, Astwood common fields - 4 acre close (3 acres 2 roods 10 peck) - Close formerly called Bushy Close, with a cottage on it) now called Balls Close and cottage (3 acres 13 peck); East & South, Astwood common fields; West, Astwood Green; North, ii); All except the Grove are in the occupation of Edward January; Property is vested in John Grubb in trust for i) and are subject to 2 terms of years - 400 (15 July 1691) and 500 years (11 July 1695); Remainder of said terms assigned by John Grubb to Charles Lowndes in trust for ii); Covenant by John Thurloe Brace to assign the terms of years; Now i) assigns to ii) - Said covenant; ii) Appointed attorney to take action against John T Brace to compel performance of the covenant, if necessary; Signature ii) Endorsed; witnesses: Jane Scott, Thomas Hawkins
