(Elizabeth, Ann and Rebecca are sisters and co-heirs of George Cobb of Sharnbrook, gentleman deceased). (ii) Richard Turner of the Inner Temple, London, esq. (iii) Francis Brace of Bedford, gentleman. Recites that George Cobb died seized of the manors of Langtons, Parentines and Ouse in Sharnbrook, and a messuage and lands in Sharnbrook, Felmersham and Odell; these descended to his sisters, Elizabeth, Ann, Rebecca and Mary deceased. Conveyance 2 & 3 November 1698 by Rebecca to Joseph Godfrey of her share of the property. Property divided thus:- To Elizabeth Watkins; -- messuage of farmhouse occupied by John Norman; Home close (4acres) adjoining; 8 acre closes opposite the messuage on the other side of the street; Dry close and Dry close Spinney (7acres); 4 acre close; close (1 acre) divided from the messuage by the highway; the ploughed ground (8acres); all occupied by John Norman; 90 acres of arable and 5 acres of meadow; messuage and farmhouse occupied by J. Norman. Messuage and farmhouse occupied by William Harper; Homestall close (3acres); Lyme close (5acres); Green or Greenend close and spinney adjoining (5acres); 90 acres of arable and 5 acres of meadow occupied by William Harper; all in Sharnbrook. To Ann Cobb; -- Manors of Langtons and Parentines in Sharnbrook; capital messuage or farmhouse occupied by William Corby; garden ground opposite; Home close wherein the Dovehouse stands; close adjoining (10 acres); close of pasture (18acres); 106 acres of arable and 4 1/2 of meadow all occupied by William Corbey; cottage and smiths shop occupied by Thomas Morris and orchard adjoining; cot occupied by Jeoffrey Woodham; White Leys wood (6acres); £210.15. as compensation from Elizabeth and Joseph Godfrey. To Joseph and Rebecca Godfrey; --manor of Ouse; manor house called the ""messuage by the waterside"", with all fishing rights etc.; the ground Whereon Pinchmill stood and the fisher's house near it, lately erected by George Cobb; Dovehouse and Great Home closes (14acres) ""divided by a dead hedge"", occupied by William Harper and Thomas Elmes; New close (4acres) ""next the field"", occupied by Joseph Godfrey; 2 closes of meadow occupied by Joseph Godfrey; Bridge close occupied by William Sherman; Pinchmill holme (4acres) surrounded by the river Ouse, occupied by John Bolton; all in Sharnbrook; 129 acres in Sharnbrook and Odell occupied by John Norman and William Corby; Cottages in Sharnbrook occupied by Thomas Elmes.
