    (i) William Simms, butcher (nephew & devisee of Mary Boddington, widow & devisee of William Boddington); all of Northwood End, (which said Wiliam Simms is son & heir of William Simms of Houghton Conquest, butcher, deceased; who was a brother of Mary Boddington) (ii) Robert Simms of Northwood End, yeoman (eldest son of said William Simms; & cousin of and devisee of Mary Boddington); (iii) John Simms of St. Paul's Shadwell (county of Middlesex), perukemaker (great-nephew & heir of Mary Boddington; & eldest son & heir of Edward Simms; who was eldest son & heir of John Simms, both butchers of Southill, deceased; which said John Simms was eldest brother & heir of Mary Boddington); & (iv) William Norman of Haynes Grange farmer. A toft on which a messuage once stood, in Northwood End, late in the occupation of John Green, & a close late in the occupation of William Boddington & since of Joseph Harper, containing 2 acres between the land late of William King, & abutting South on highway. (Recites Deed, 1765, of Mary Boddington to James Clearson of Shefford, plumber, under which £36.19s. is owing to executors of his Will, Thomas Wells, woolstapler & John Arch, draper both of Shefford).
