(Recites settlement on marriage of said Thomas Bass and Mary Backhouse of Wootton, spinster (one of the nieces of George Backhouse, clerk), 1762; and Will of George Backhouse, 1775. Occupiers and bounding owners: formerly John Bassett, then Richard Bull, Thomas Richards. Witnesses: Theed Pearse (of Bedford), John Upton (clerk to Mr. Pearse), & George Capson (clerk to Mr. Day, Kimbolton).
