On even date one year's rent of Higham Gobion was paid at Woodhall, Odell, by Mr John Butler, John Burrows and Robert Fuller to Sir Philip Butler, knight, and there were repaid by him sums laid out for him to Mr Rotheram for the certainty, and to 'my Lord of Kent' for quit rent, and one year's tithe of Gobyon's Woode.
