These documents relate mainly to Higham Gobion (in particular to the Manor, Church and Rectory, and to transactions of the Butler family), Cardington and Wilden, but include documents relating wholly or in part to various properties in several other parishes of Bedfordshire or in a few cases of Hertfordshire.
Also included are papers of William Lee Antonie of Colworth, Sharnbrook, to whose family BS 448 - 463 (Accession number 1519) and BS 576 - 607 (Accession number 1521) also relate (BRA Stamp 242: from Mr and Mrs Benedict Eyre).
BS 1153 - 1160 relate to estates of Robert Baskerfield of Leighton Buzzard and Henry Brandreth of Houghton Regis, and with them belong BS 1576 - 1186 (Accession Number 1842, BRA Stamp 715).
