The messuage or tenement whereon Henry Lindopp dwells and 2 closes of pasture now called Esberry ‘ground’ (3 acres) and other lands [as in BS 1091, which is recited, with endorsemants; details given]. Witnesses: Thomas Bromsall, Richard Lee [In very poor condition, in parts undecipherable] On dorse: Subject to paying interest half-yearly, Henry Lindop shall remain in possession for three years. Witnesses: [-]. Additional payments made on same security (details given), 10 May 1687 – 10 November 1690. Witnesses: Richard Lee, ?Henry Brydall, ?Richard Cumberland. Memorandum: The whole principal money is £444 and all interest is paid to 10 November 1690.

Endorsements: -- Acknowledgement of receipt of a further sum of £32 paid by John Everard to Henry Lindopp and John Lindopp on same security, 19 November 1683. Witnesses: Richard Lee, Robert Cremer -- Acknowledgement of a further sum of £58 paid by John Everard to Henry Lindopp and John Lindopp on same security, 9 May 1685.
