- Scope and ContentPhilip Hunt, Thomas Charles Higgins, Thomas Barber. 31 prisoners. The Turnkey reported that the conduct of the untried prisoners charged with felony and misdemeanour has been good but that with regard to debtors Mr [Alfred] Lowless was disrespectful and insolent towards the turnkey at the lock up hour last night at 9pm. Mr Lowless appeared before the Justices and apologised for his conduct, promising to conform strictly, hereafter to the rules of the prison.
