Contains information on the number of prisoners and the type of detention, health of prisoners, gaolers' holidays, those taken to Millbank for transportation, the awarding of contracts for necessary provisions for the gaol, the conduct of officers and prisoners. The Justices record their sentences for breaches of prison discipline. Names of Justices given. 22 March 1825 Some dissatisfaction expressed by the prisoners as to the treadmill 8 March 1826 All prisoners vaccinated 10 April 1832 'No prisoners, except debtors, be allowed to smoke tobacco' 1832 Stricter gaol rules proposed 22 Feb 1825 -13 April 1833 [sic]
