- Scope and ContentPhilip Hunt, George P Livius J Banfield, Turnkey, in the Gaoelrs absence, reported the number of prisoners to be 31. A letter was received from [George] Hart & [William]Toms, who are suffering imprisonment for a forcible detainer, in which they request permission from the visiting justices to work at their respective trades of shhoe making and slipper making as they are very poor and which for a little more support than is allowed to prisoners not sentenced to hard labour. Permission granted on condition of their not mnaking improper use of their tools.
