- Scope and ContentRobert Moore, George Cardale. The Gaoler reported that James Taylor and James Fuller had the sentence of whipping inflicted upon them on Tuesday last in the presence of all the prisoners in the gaol and of of Mr Isaac Hurst, surgeon, and that they received 100 lashes each, that the surgeon examined their backs on the Thursday following and reported that they were doing well and the Gaoler further reports that they have since conducted themselves well. An order is received by the Gaoler from the Home Secretary to remove eight of the convicts - John Whitbread, John Woodcraft, James Myre, William Grose, James Fuller, Henry Gentle and William Saunderson to the Justitia hulk at Woolwich.
