Thomas Barber. The Gaoler reported that three of the prisoners committed for hard labour - William Croseley, John Rutt and George Lane in consequence of refusing to work after they had been pronounced by Mr Short able to resume the Wheel, had been confined each of them for one day in their sleeping rooms. On their petitioning to be set at liberty and promising to conduct themselves properly they were sent to the wheel and have since behaved themselves well.
