- Scope and ContentPhilip Hunt. Mr Matthiason brought fprward a complaint against the prisoners in the convict yard of the Gaol for throwing large stones out of the prison, by which many of the panes of glass in his windows have been broken; and the safety and even lives of his children endangered. An order was given to deprive the prisoners in that yard from receiving visits of friends or buying any articles from the grocer until they reveal the name of the offending person or persons. The Gaoler reported that Thomas Ashweell, imjprisoned on an estreated recognisance in the Debtors Gaol, is so ill provided with clothes that unless a change of linen be provided for him by the overseers of his parish, or by the County, he will become filthy and liable to be overrun with vermin. Ordered that application be made to the overseers of Kempston to supply him with what is ecessary for cleanliness.
