- Scope and ContentRobert Moore, Stephen Thornton, Philip Hunt The Keeper reported that he had seen Benjamin Barton & his wife, now resident at Aylesbury who had applied for the vacant situations of Turnkey and Sub Matron and that their appearance, and the testimonials in their favour are such as to induce him to reciommend them to the Visiting Magistrates to give them a trial. A permission to that effect was in consequence granted. Samuel and Francis Colgrave and John Brown, having been found guilty, on the complaint of the Gaoler and the Oath of the Turnkey, of having cut a hole in the venetian blinds of yhe windows of their cells, they were severally sentenced to three days confinement in their respective cells.
