Philip Hunt. The Gaoler one of the prisoners, named James Brewer complains of having had his pocket picked of half a sovereign by one of his fellow prisoners, strong suspicion being entertained of Joseph Gardiner having committed the theft, he was examined, but the proof was not strong enough to warrant any proceeding against him.
