    Details given: Recites 17 May 1637, Lease, 2 months: Right Honourable John, Lord Boteler, to Right Honourable Francis, Lord Dunsinore, and Endymion Porter: -- Manor of Streatley-cum-Sharpenhoe with all rights and appurtenances and all other messuages and lands in Streatley and Sharpenhoe; mentioned among other things court-leetes, View of Frankpledge, waifes, estrayes, herriots, rights of patronage; -- Lordship and Manor of Quinne Howe [Queen Hoo], Hertfordshire, with all appurtenances; mentioned among other things mills, dove-houses, waste waters, fishing law-dayes and leetes, view of frankpledge, court franchises, advowsons; -- New House called Quinne Howe Hall heretofore, in the occupation of Aphabel Partridge, with houses etc; -- All other messuages, lands etc in Tuying [Tewin], Brantfield, Stapleford and Thachworth, Datchworth, Hertfordshire; -- Manor of Brantfield with appurtenances; mentioned among other things court leete and view of frankpledge and advowson of church; -- All his messuages and lands etc in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, purchased by him; -- All his messuages and lands etc in Higham Gobion; advowson of the church; -- All other his estates in the realm of England. Estate as recited. To use of Right Honourable John, Lord Boteler, for life without impeachment of waste, then of Right Honourable Francis, Lord Dunsinore, and Endymion Porter and heirs during life of William Boteler, esquire, son and heir apparent of Right Honourable John, Lord Boteler for: - Payment of all debts and legacies of Right Honourable John, Lord Boteler, not discharged out of his personal estate; - Payment of 1000 marks to Olive, daughter of Right Honourable John, Lord Boteler, and wife of Endymion Porter, and 500 marks to Jane, Countess of Marlborough, another daughter of Right Honourable John, Lord Boteler, 'in remembrance of the affection of ... her father unto her.' The residue for maintenance of William so long as he shall live unmarried. In case of William's marriage with consent of Right Honourable Francis Lord Dunsinore and Endymion Porter, to the use of the first son of the marriage and heirs male of his body; in default, to the use of the second son and heirs male of his body, and so on; in default, one-sixth part of the whole estate to the use of each of the following: - Lady Audrey, wife of Lord Dunsinore, and heirs of her body; - Dame Elinor Drake, widow of Sir John Drake of Ash, Devon, knight, and heirs of her body; - Right Honourable Lady Jane, Countess Dowager of Marlborough, now wife of William Ashburnham, esquire, for life without impeachment of waste, then to the heirs of her body; - Olive, wife of Endymion Porter, and heirs of her body; - Edward Howard, gentleman, youngest son of Lady Mary Howard, late wife of Edward, Lord Howard, and heirs male of his body, or in default to her sons Citell William and Thomas and heirs male of their bodies; - Lady Ann, Countess of Newport, and heirs of her body. Audrey, Jane, Mary, Ann, Olive and Elinor are all daughters of Right Honourable John Lord Boteler. In case of marriage of William Butler with consent of Right Honourable Francis, Lord Dunsinore, and Endymion Porter with issue female, the aforesaid daughters and Edward Howard and their respective heirs shall pay to such issue such portion of the estate as Right Honourable Francis, Lord Dunsinore, and Endymion Porter may think meet, having first careful respect unto Right Honourable John, Lord Boteler's own daughters and grandchildren. Proviso for revocation of this indenture at will. On dorse: Declaration of intent of Right Honourable John, Lord Boteler, that in case of the death of his son William before payment of 1000 marks to Olive, this sum shall be paid before division and disposal of the estate and that out of it, £100 shall be given to Charles and 100 marks to Philip Porter, sons of Endymion and Olive.
