    Wesleyan chapel built 1795. Enlarged in 1806 and 1829 and improved in 1864. Closed early 2026. Circuits: Leighton Buzzard Circuit 1812 (founder member)-1973; Leighton Buzzard and Stewkley Circuit 1973-c.2005; Chiltern Downs Circuit c.2005-2010; South Bedfordshire Circuit from 2010. 1795 A piece of land purchased in Tottenhoe Road and a small single storey chapel erected. 1806 More land purchased to enlarge the chapel. 1829 Due to a large increase in chapel membership a further enlargement takes place. 1864 An upper storey and three sided gallery were added, entailing new windows and an extension at the front to provide space for the stairs. Not a great deal of the earlier building remained. 1910 Schoolroom built at the rear of the chapel and chapel extensively redecorated. 1972 £1,100 was spent on another thorough redecoration. 1991, June to November a major refurbishment took place involving significant strutural modifications as well as a complete redecoration. The building was grade II listed in February 1991. It was put up for sale in November 2025. The congregation continued to worship after moving out of the chapel in Totternhoe Road.
