Elstow church monument to Lovet Crompton. Latin inscription: In blessed hope of resurrection near this monument lies Lovet Crompton, son of Robert Crompton and Elizabeth his wife, beloved first born, esquire of the Inner Temple of London, who died 11 March 1684 aged 30. Placed by his most sorrowful mother and executrix. Watercolour by Thomas Fisher.
