    Operative Part (i) and (ii) came before Henry Chaundler of Biggleswade, Solicitor and For this day only Deputy Steward for Samuel Day, Chief Steward of the Manor of Biggleswade. In consideration of £220 paid to each of (i) by (ii) surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the Manor by the acceptance of the Deputy Steward according to the custom of the said manor: a) Land as in Z 590/43 (c) Surrendered to the use of the said Ellis Piggott Jeakings his heirs and assigns forever at the will of the Lord according to the custom of the said manor. Signed: Signed and sealed by (i) (Jeremiah Lilburn Rosher by his attorney Frederick Conder). Examined with the original surrender (impressed with a stamp of the value of two pounds five shillings) and attested to be a true copy thereof by Arthur Brookes and Arthur K Brookes, Clerks to Messrs.Chapman and Chaundler, Solicitors, Biggleswade 6 Jan 1893.
