Will of William Fortune of Eaton Socon, innholder. Being of sound and perfect mind and memory. Soul unto Almighty my Creator. To beloved wife, 80 pounds 'due to me in my Brother in Law John Swanson's hand' and also twenty pounds to be paid her by executrix. To grand daughters Faith Fisher and Mary Fisher, the sum of £40 each to be paid when they reach twenty one. If their mother should die before they come to that age the sums of £40 to be put at interest as the law directs for their use and benefit by executrix. Sole executrix Faith Fisher, wife of Richard Fisher of Colmworth, yeoman.
