Letter from Lord Dacre [probably to John Hawkins] asking if he thinks it would be all right to accept the total amount of Mr Whitbread's debt. He himself inclines to receiving the usual six months' notice. The result to Mr Wilshere's estate must be 'quite problematical', as there seems as much probability of a rise in funds as a fall. If he were not confined by gout, he would ride over the next day.
