    Sent to Pte George A Folks 3/5 Beds D Co. Message reads "Dear George just a PC in answer to your letter, this is a littel reminder of your first day firing, do not mark to straigh at first. I went down to church last night as I get very tired of sitting about home, it was Mr White & he was very nice, your mother was there also I am going up home tomorrow Friday to see what time we start on Sat we have a little work today I am please to say. With best love I remain your loving sweetheart Annie."
