Details of bequests: -- Numerous monetary bequests. -- £300 to trustees, to invest in stock and pay dividends to churchwardens and overseers of Tempsford, for aged and needy in parish. -- Messuage and land in Wyboston, in the occupation of brother Thomas, purchased of Messrs Hetleys and executor of Mr Boston, called Boston farm, land in Wyboston purchased of [-] Harper, messuage and beer-shop in Wyboston, in the occupation of John Nunn called the Plough, messuage adjoining in the occupation of John Barringham: to brother Thomas for life, remainder to nephew Thomas. -- 4 cottages in Tempsford, cottages and land in Chawston, North cottages in Wyboston, closes and meadow adjoining, to brother Joseph for life, remainder to Luke, son of brother Peter, and nephew William. -- Bell Inn in Little End, Eaton Socon, and land adjoining, in the occupation of nephew Luke, purchased of Mr Day and cottages and lands adjoining (80 acres), messuage in Wyboston, cottages and closes in Wyboston and Roxton to brother Peter for life, remainder to nephew. -- Cottage in Chawston in the occupation of mother Mary Smart, to same for life, remainder to nephew Peter. -- Goodwill of woollen-drapers business to brother Samuel.
