- Scope and ContentShe was with her husband at Shefford. When Gazeley said he had sold the pigs and had not got the money she found fault with him for deceiving them and went to George Burrows who Gazeley said he had sold them to. Burrows said he had paid ready money - 8s 6d a piece for them. She told Gazeley that and he said "you may get it if you can - I never intended paying - I was chiselled out of a horse last week at Hitchin and why should not I chisel you". He asked her if she had got another lot at the same place and laughed and jeered at her.
