- Scope and ContentInhabitants of Heath & Reach, as assembled on 28 November 1850, request that: the public footpath leading from Lindslade Road by Grange Mill and Rushmere pond, across the property of the late Elizabeth Knight ( given by her to the incumbent and chapel wardens of the township as glebe land and burial ground), across the land of Edward Penfold into the High Road - should be diverted and turned. - plan viewed by justices, Charles James Fox Russell and Charles Hervey Smith, and they agree the footpath might be turned and turned so as to make it more commodious to the public - notice of intentions were fixed by the surveyors - notice required in a Bedfordshire newspaper for the period of 4 weeks. * Clerk of Peace acknowledges lodging of correct certificates and notices There being no appeal the diversion is approved.
