  • Scope and Content
The report includes details of the three serious incidents at Luton Town Football Club. In March the fixture with Millwall resulted in 60 injuries and nearly £6,000 of damage. There was disorder after the match with Manchester United in October resulting in 6 injuries and criminal damage exceeding £9,000. On the 3 November three were stabbed before the game against Birmingham City. Co-operation with the football club brought about improvised segregation of fans, rearranged match times and improved police surveillance and communication systems. More flexible deployment of police, improved intelligence and the use of police horses on loan from the City of London were other developments noted in the report with regards to football violence.
