Details of bequests: -- to wife Ann, all goods which he had at time of marriage and use of any one chamber in house. -- to youngest son John, £300 at age 21, colt and 10 ewes. -- to daughter Elizabeth, £150 at age 21, linen in trunk, 1 feather bed, bolster, silver tankard, silver salt seller, 1/2 dozen silver spoons. -- if John and Elizabeth die, remainder to daughter Ann Sheppard, £50. -- if eldest son James does not pay legacy to son John, to son John 10 acres meadow called Saltwell, 10 acres arable called Dovehouse piece, 6 acres arable in Ding field. -- if son James does not pay legacy to daughter Elizabeth, to daughter Elizabeth, Milch close. -- son James to maintain John and Elizabeth. -- residue of goods and lands to son James.
