Agreement to lease: (i) John Day of St Neots, brewer (ii) William Deer, late of Elton now of Sawtry, Huntingdonshire, yeoman, and James Asbridge of Winwick, Northamptonshire, yeoman. Cross Keys, Sawtry, from 6 July – 11 October 1819 at £3 15s, then from year to year at £15 per annum. (ii) not to sell any beer not furnished by (i) under penalty of £10 for every day they do so. (ii) to repair glass in windows, doors, fences and thatching. (i) reserves barn and stables etc for stacking and threshing his crops.
