    The view shows Ford End Road Post Office, on the corner of Ford End Road and Fairfax Road [Number 39]. 'E. Thumpston, family grocer' is painted on the wall on the Fairfax Road elevation. 'William Thumpston' can be discerned above the shop door. Various tobacco advertisements can be seen in the windows. No indication of publisher. Card has been postally used but bears no message.
