- Scope and ContentCaption reads ' Pte, Chris Lincoln, of the 2nd Bedfords, went out under terrific fire and cut the barbed wire entanglements of the enemy in readiness for the great advance at Loos. He was badly wounded in carrying out this work, but he won the commendations of his Commanding Officer and of General H. Watts commanding the famous 7th Division. These cards are sold for the purpose of buying a gold watch for presentation by Mr H.M. Lindsell, C.B. on behalf of the people of Biggleswade to this gallant lad as a token of his fellow townsmen's appreciation.' No indication of publisher.
