He has catechised youth of Harrold alternate Sunday 4-6 years & 'hath often heard Bolton express his concern that [parents & masters] would not [send children & servants]; but no notice of confirmation. 2 years ago Margaret daughter of Edward Fuller of Harrold was to be buried on Mon. evening but Bolton forgot; done next day; 2 years ago John Francis Abraham died of smallpox; he sent his son to toll Bolton, 'but one Mr. Bletsoe meeting his son would not let him go, telling him Mr. Bolton never had the smallpox, but ordered him to one Mr.Chatterton', who promised to come & did not, though bells rang 2 hours. When Mr. King was vicar he constantly had morning & evening prayers; inhabitants made subscription of about £12. When the previous case was on in London, cure of Harrold was supplied in Bolton's absence by Chatterton.
