Card sent to Rev George Whitbread, of Chatteris, Cambs, from Alfred Wood 'This photograph of the memorial has Leslies' name on the front that faces you. There were thousands of people at the unveiling. Am sending you a Biggleswade Chronicle on Friday with full report of [?] & Caldecote unveilings'
The name L.G. Whitehead can be discerned on the photograph, so the recepient was probably a relative of a fallen soldier.
