    Draft conveyance (i) Thomas Wright Richards, Barford, Northamptonshire, farmer (ii) Edward Handscomb, Ampthill, gentleman (iii) Franklin Harbett, Toddington, yeoman (iv) -- Barker, and wife Ann (v) Susan Ogden, Luton, widow (vi) James Stokes, Leagrave, and wife Lucy (vii) Harriett Harbett, Silsoe, spinster (viii) The Reverend John William Coventry Campion (ix) dower trustees [not named] reciting release of 14 January 1843 [Z450/4] and deed of 12 May 1846 [Z450/7] Also endorsement of 17 August 1850 being a transfer of mortgage reciting the deaths of William Harbett and Rebecca Teedon and Ann Harbett married -- Barker Doubts have been entertained as to lands passed to Thomas Smith by mortgage of 12 May 1846 for want of a proper description. Whereas Thomas Wright Richards, Edward Handscomb, Franklin Harbett, -- Barker, and wife Ann, Susan Ogden, James Stokes and wife Lucy and Harriett Harbett consider that William Harbett intended them [the said lands] to be comprised in said mortgage £-- is now owing to Thomas Wright Richards. NOW Thomas Wright Richards with consent of Edward Handscomb, Franklin Harbett, -- Barker, and wife Ann, Susan Ogden, James Stokes and wife Lucy and Harriett Harbett has agreed to sell to The Reverend John William Coventry Campion for £2700 No conveyance can now be given of the share of Harriett Hillyard Attlee so has been agreed that ? th part of purchase money shall be retained by The Reverend John William Coventry Campion until a proper conveyance be made.
