    Reciting that William Gery has borrowed several great sums of money: - Thomas Hardwick, bond £1000 to secure £500 at a day long since past - George Francklyn, penal sum £200 to secure £100 at a day long since past - Thomas Beverly, bond penal sum £100 to secure £50 - William Glascock, bond dated 17 December 1639 penal sum £400 to secure £200 - Nicholas Martin, bond 1 March 1640 £200 to secure £100 Reciting that William Gery is also indebted to other persons who are not parties to this present: - Bernard ?Lifort of Grayes Inn, esquire, bond £400 to secure £200 - John Hankins (or Haukins), bond £400 to pay £200 - Richard Withers, bond £200 to secure £100 - Giles King, Tempsford, Bedfordshire, clerk in bond £400 to secure £200 of which only £60 remains to be repaid - one Shefford bond for £100 to secure £50 - Robert Lord of Worthorpe, Northamptonshire, gentleman, bond £100 to secure £50 making in all £1610.
