    his body to be placed in a shell or coffin and interred in the family vault beneath the Chancel of Toddington Parish Church -- to Alice, wife of William Hunt, Luton, gentleman, Harriett, wife of Joseph Richardson, Woodside, farmer, and Charlt, wife of Richard Vyse, Luton, straw merchant -- freehold messuage with meadows and arable lands at Westoning, ‘my Westoning Estate’ to hold for ever as tenants in common -- to said William Hunt -- freehold messuage in Toddington, formerly used as a workhouse in trust for sale, and to invest proceeds. Interests etc. to be payable between servant, - Franklin Harbett, Susan Harbett, Lucy Harbett, and Harriett Harbett, his three daughters and servant, Elizabeth Witherington, equally, share and share alike as tenants in common for their lives On failure of said trusts, trust monies to become part of personal estate. Shares of Susan, Lucy and Harriett Harbett, and Elizabeth Witherington to be for their separate use and not under the control of any husband -- to housekeeper, Rebecca Teedon -- freehold messuage or cottage situate in the Ampthill Road near Toddington now in the occupation of Joseph Bean -- freehold piece of land in road leading from Toddington to Tebworth ‘now in my own occupation’ -- to William Hunt -- freehold mansion etc. in Toddington in his own occupation in trust to receive rents and to pay same to Caroline Cooper Cooper, the third daughter of William Dodge Cooper Cooper, Esquire, for her sole use After death of said Caroline Cooper Cooper, said mansion house devised to William Hunt and Alice Hunt, jointly, for their lives, and then to Emily Waller, Luton, spinster, for ever -- to said Alice Hunt -- rest, residue and remainder of estate, real and personal (excepting a legacy of £50 to Thomas Tomlinson, clerk to William Hunt, Luton, gentleman ‘for his civility towards me’) to be chargeable out of personal estate power to appoint new trustees said William Hunt appointed sole executor and trustee will dated 24 October 1846. probate granted (Prerogative Court of Canterbury) 5 February 1851. ‘sworn under Two Thousand Pounds and that the Testator died 28 April 1847’
