- Scope and Content(i) Nathaniel Grace Lambert, Newcastle, Northumberland, and wife, Mary Ann (late Mary Ann Richards, spinster) (ii) Thomas Wright Richards (iii) John William Coventry Campion (iv) James Lindsay Cooper Cooper, Toddington, clerk (v) William Cooper Cooper, Toddington, Esquire reciting release of 14 January 1843 [Z450/4] and will of William Harbett [Z450/21] On 1 December 1847 said Rebecca Teedon and others filed a suit in Chancery against said William Hunt and wife Alice, Caroline Cooper Cooper, Emily Waller, Thomas Tomlinson, Thomas Wright Richards, Edward Handscomb and Nathaniel Grace Lambert and wife, Mary Ann praying that deed of 14 January 1843 might be declared to be valid as against the defendants claiming under the will and that said will was inoperative on the property comprised in said deed Rebecca Teedon having died, the suit in Chancery was revived by plaintiffs against Richard Teedon, brother of Rebecca, and Blackall Joseph Yarrow, her executor. All parties were desirous that said suit should be dismissed and no further proceedings taken. Reciting also deed of 24 July 1850 [recited, no date given, in Z450/20] reciting also deed of 22 November 1851 (a) John Waller and wife Emily (b) Thomas Wright Richards Since last mentioned deed Emily Waller had married John. Now John Waller and wife Emily agree to convey to Thomas Wright Richards -- messuage, garden and orchard freed from trusts of said will reciting also mortgage of 12 May 1846 [Z450/7] and endorsement James Lindsay Cooper Cooper has agreed with Nathaniel Grace Lambert and wife, Mary Ann and Thomas Wright Richards for the sale to him of certain property for £642 which includes the value of the timber which sum shall be paid to Thomas Wright Richards in part discharge of the money due to him on mortgage now in consideration of £642 paid to Thomas Wright Richards at request of Nathaniel Grace Lambert and wife, Mary Ann by James Lindsay Cooper Cooper, Nathaniel Grace Lambert and wife, Mary Ann and Thomas Wright Richards release to James Lindsay Cooper Cooper -- messuage in Toddington near road leading from there to Woburn together with stable, barn and outbuildings -- pightle of pasture or orchard adjoining (½ acre) and 1 acre formerly arable formerly in the occupation of Edward Whitehead, then William Harbett and which said messuage is now in the occupation of Franklin Harbett and land in occupation of Nicholas Oakely -- pieces of land lying near (2 acres 3 roods 36 poles) allotted to William Harbett on the enclosure of Toddington and are now laid to said 1 acre and form one close (by recent measurement - 4 acres 0 roods 14 poles) to be held to use of James Lindsay Cooper Cooper. William Cooper Cooper to be trustee for him if necessary.
