  • Title
    (1) William Gery senior of Over, Cambridgeshire, gentleman (2) William Gery junior, son and heir apparent of William Gery senior. Assignment by (1) to (2) for 300 years in consideration of natural love and affection, and because William Gery junior has on request of (1) joined in sale of the third part of the manor or Lordship of Hoo in Pertenhall alias Pertnall, and of other lands in Pertenhall. His house called Busshemeade and known by the name of the late dissolved Priory of Busshemeade in the parish of Eaton, Bedfordshire, now in the tenure of (2), with all outhouses, edifices, buildings, barns, stables, orchards, gardens, land, tenements, meadows, leasows, feedings, pastures, woods, underwoods, rents, reversions, services, profit of courts, etc belonging to the house in the parish of Eaton in Bedfordshire, and Great Stoughton in Huntingdonshire. All other messuages, lands, tenements in Eaton, Rockston, Colmworth, Barford, Keysoe and Bolnhurst. Paying each year to William Gery senior 40 shillings. Paying yearly to Crown £20 5s for Tenths. Paying yearly to heirs of Anthony Cockett late of Fold Park, Middlesex, esquire, deceased, £80. It is lawfull for (2) to 'Alter and transpose the foresaid Howse, edyfices and buildinges'.
