  • Scope and Content
Henry Arthur Hoare by will devised villa at Teignmouth called Rowdens to wife for life and authorised trustees to sell it at her request. The property was sold last year for £6,000 of which £3,000 was left on mortgage of the property and other £3,000 was paid in cash. Trustees applied this money in paying off £3,000 then remaining due to the house on the Aspley eatate (which mortgage and house should be paid out of his general estate but until now trustees have had no funds from this source applicable to the payment). The mortgage being invested in Mr. Peter Richard Hoare he signed a receipt for the £3,000; Henry Tylee is undertaking to transfer mortgage to Mrs. Hoare’s trustees or as they direct. Mrs. Henry Arthur Hoare requires £3,000 to purchase house in Cornwall Gardens, South Kensington and the trustees have consented to lend her the money on security of the house, if Messrs. Hoare will let them have the £3,000 again and take back security on Aspley at 4% as before. The security is very good. If Messrs. Hoare consents, Mr. Pellow and Mr. Praed (Mrs. Hoare’s trustees) will sign receipt for £3,000 and return title deeds to Messrs. Hoare with direction for Mr. Peter Richard Hoare to transfer to Messrs. Hoare the mortgage on Aspley for that amount with interest from date of the advance. The money will be required on the 29th. Bournmouth:
