    recites: Agreement 1 January 1717 (i) Mariabella Briggins (ii) Richard How marriage intended between Richard How and Susanna Richard How and Susanna would on 3 September next assign to trustees £1000 Orphans Stock in the Chamber of London on trusts . . (this was done) Richard How and Susanna have at present no issue Richard How purchased estates of real value of £1,080 in Bedfordshire NOW: said premises detailed below are to be settled and the £1000 Orphans stock shall be assigned to Richard How -- Steppington, close of pasture, in Aspley Guise 5 acres -- several parcels arable 100 acres in Aspley Guise with all appurtenances including common of pasture for 7 cows and 7 breeders all particularly described in Release of 9 May 1722 (i) Edward Cope of Aspley Guise, yeoman (ii) Robert Maxwell of London, woollen draper Edward Emmett of St. Andrew Holborn, London, linen draper Adam Bevan of Beckerings Park, Ridgmont, yeoman -- several parcels arable, ley, meadow and pasture in Aspley Guise 30 acres purchased by John Moore late of Broughton, Buckinghamshire, inn-holder deceased of Francis Coleman late of Woburn, grocer and Abraham Barber and wife Mary, and Sarah Timbs widow by Lease and Release 3 and 4 October 1709 (Mary and Sarah were sisters of said Francis Coleman) said land is more particularly described in said Indenture, and common for 2 horses and 3 cows in the fens, 2 bullocks on the hills and 4 sheep in the fields belonging to Aspley Guise. -- parcels of arable, ley and meadow 15 acres in Aspley Guise purchased by John Moore of Thomas How, brother of said Richard How by Indenture of Feoffment with Livery of Seisin 30 May 1713 therein more particularly expressed, also common of pasture for 2 horses and 2cows in Aspley Fenn, 2 bullocks on the hills and 39 sheep. -- 3 acres meadow in Broad Mead in Aspley Guise -- ½ acre meadow in Swan’s Nest Mead in Aspley Guise -- 8 acres meadow dispersed in Allom Bridge Mead and Swan’s Nest Mead -- 1 acre and ½ swath meadow in Aspley Guise, viz: . . . 1 acre in Allom Bridge Mead :east Mr. Richardson :west Thomas Hackett . . . 1 rood in Swanns Nest Mead :north brook :east meadow of Richard Tilcock :west William Russell : land of Mr. Sadler . . . 1 rood in Swanns Nest Mead, more westward :east Mr. Breedon :west Ralph Farr :south land of --- . . . ½ swath meadow in Swanns Nest Mead :east heretofore Mr. Harding all which premises were late in the occupation of William Mather and William Huett to hold on trusts . . .
