    recites: V354-6 now; for barring of entails and assuring the said premises to the uses hereinafter mentioned, Sarah How and William Joyce How releases to William Townsend -- Miller’s House in Aspley Guise -- messuage adjoining above sometime since erected -- water mill for grinding corn near said messuages -- wind mill for grinding corn near said messuages -- Mill Pond or Mill Dam 1 acre 2 roods 5 perches adjoining said water mills -- orchard in Aspley Guise adjoining Mill Pond 3 acres 20 perches -- pightle or pasture in Aspley Guise adjoining Mill Pond 1 rood 15 perches -- pightle or pasture in Aspley Guise called Mill Way leading from said messuages and mills to the road leading from Aspley Guise to the Turnpike Road -- parcel of arable in Aspley Guise whereon the said windmill is standing called Mill Close 6 acres 33 perches in the occupation of John Clayton -- close of arable formerly ley or sweard in Aspley Guise adjoining said Mill Pond 5 acres 6 perches which Briggins How purchased of Richard How junior -- close of pasture formerly arable in Aspley Guise adjoining last mentioned close, called Fulbrooke 9 acres 4 perches -- close of pasture formerly arable in Aspley Guise adjoining last mentioned close, called Spring Close 4 acres 20 perches all which premises last mentioned are in the occupation of Michael Hutton -- parcel of pasture and wood in Aspley Guise, Radwell Pit, 2 acres 1 rood 30 perches in the occupation of Henry Cooper said Mill Close and parcels of pasture and wood ground called Fulbrooke, Spring Close and Radwell Pit were by award 19 June 1761 allotted to Briggins How in recompense for lands which he held before the award and which were granted by above recited Lease and Release; said Mill Close stated by award to contain 5 acres 3 roods 5 perches; Fullbrooke and Spring Close are allotted as one parcel arable 12 acres 3 roods 8 perches all above premises to William Townsend that he may become tenant of the freehold in order that a common recovery may be suffered Witnesses: R. A. Reddall, of Woburn, Thomas Shaw of Woburn, George Townsend of Staple Inn, John Lockett of Staple Inn.
