recites will dated 15 August 1681: to kinsman John Jordan close of pasture in Pavenham abutting south on Bendwell Spring -- 1 acre wanting 4 feet of meadow ground in the third Steventon dole in Little Stafford Meadow next to the homermost stone of the same dole -- 1 acre arable in Woodcroft Field in Steventon , abutting near Fulling Mills Spring -- 4 lands in West Field of Pavenham on Bendwell Hill 1½ acres -- 2 lands ½ acre in Stafford Field abutting about the middle of Longhedge :west John Tireman :east Thomas Morris -- ½ acre in Stafford Field on Sands Furlong :west Richard Gilbert :east Doctor Reynolds -- residue of lands etc. to kinsman Richard Lambert in trust to pay to testator’s sister Douglas Jordan £5 per annum to William Spencer son of Thomas Spencer of Turvey £150 to William Spencer half of household goods -- other half to be equally divided between John, son of said John Jordan and William son of said Richard Lambert to said John Jordan junior and said William Lambert £10 each to Mary and Elizabeth daughters of Thomas Spencer £20 already in the hands of Thomas Spencer; may receive their share on marriage if this precedes majority. to Thomas Spencer son of Thomas Spencer £50 to said Mary Spencer £20 to Joan the now wife of said John Jordan £10 to Douglas the now wife of Richard Smith of Town of Bedford £10 to the two children of said Richard Smith £20 to be equally divided to Katherine and Elizabeth the two daughters of said Richard Lambert £20 to be divided to Lewis Pake of Clapham £5 to poor of Pavenham £4 to poor of Steventon 20 shillings residue to Richard Lambert and John Jordan senior executors John Jordan admitted rent 1s.10d. fine 3s. 8d.
