Blake & Edgar postcards re. Highland regiments in Bedford during World War I.
Scope and Content
Blake & Edgar issued over 400 postcards featuring the Highland and other regiments in Bedford and its environs. The cards were numbered presumably in the order in which they were issued, which unfortunately is not always the order in which they were taken and therefore images of the same event are sometimes separated by a few cards showing something else. This catalogue follows the numbers on the cards given by Blake & Edgar, but with cross referencing where possible to indicate cards of the same event.
