- Scope and Contentrecites V15 note, Dorothy Rands the mother succeeded by Oliver Rands 22 September 1721; he was succeeded by cousin Catherine Rands. From – to Lady Day 1731 Laurence Williams was tenant to the said Catherine Rands (amongst other things) for the fishery water, osiers, rushes and reeds growing therein. From Lady Day 1731 Thomas Barnes became tenant as above for nine years [this document is written in the same hand as V280] endorsed: for Mr. Horton’s perusal. They belong to my estate at Radwell about a bit of ground called Hogs Holme. “ . . . .Milton thought of disputing the parish against me but as soon as I was prepared by getting proper Affidavits against theirs they dropt it. . .” “my Affidavits against Milton are in my Trunk” “The inclosed are Memorandum about my Manor at Radwell and the Randes Pedigree made out by Mr. Brydale curious”.
