Giving the resulting vacant see to the Bishop of Kilmore. 21 Oct 1801 Extract of a Letter from Lord Hardwicke to Lord Pelham The King has accepted the above proposals and Hardwicke is glad to see that the Bishop of Kilmore is to succeed either Cashel or Tuam and that Doctor Alexander will have the Bishopric.
