Extract from letter from Lord Hardwicke to Lord Pelham. tended programme of replacements after the Archbishop of Dublin’s death is the same as in WY994/8 except he would give Cashel to Tuam and then give the opportunity of Tuam to Archbishop Beresford. Giving the resulting vacant see to the Bishop of Kilmore. 21 Oct 1801 Extract of a Letter from Lord Hardwicke to Lord Pelham The King has accepted the above proposals and Hardwicke is glad to see that the Bishop of Kilmore is to succeed either Cashel or Tuam and that Doctor Alexander will have the Bishopric. Mr. Beresford has requested that his son be transferred from the see of Cloufect to Kilmore. 4 Nov1801.
