- Scope and ContentShe says that she will leave the papers and manuscripts to William, Lord Hertford and Lord Spencer. Thinks she had better name as trustees for Lady Louisa, Lord Lovaine and James Wortley, they are both respectable steady young men and both now between thirty and fourty. Thinks it wrong that Lord Hertford etc. should be sending Lady Louisa invitations to concerts, assemblies etc. “before alas” the Grave has been closed a Month! “Lady Louisa said people remarked to her at the Concert that the lady being in such grief to wear her weeds a year instead of the usual time six months”. She had found the Scottish Estate to be worth £95 per annum and belongs to Lord MacCartney and his heirs while the Irish estate was said to be worth £4,000 per annum but Lord MacCartney never got more than £3,000.
