Draft letter from William Stuart to his brother, John, 1st Marquis of Bute. - Is afraid that 'Monsieur Gibert's pedantry and ignorance of the world will render him ill qualified to be of much use to Herbert.' - Herbert wishes to see his Father, but John should make no reference to the incident, and talk only of France, family, money matters etc., and should testify implicit confidence in his prudence and good sense. The interview should take place at Hill Street, and should not be long; afterwards, Herbert should be introduced to Gibert.
