This indenture is as a security to William Penn junior that William Penn senior will pay the £2,500 and interest, and to discharge and indemnify the estate in Ireland which are now in mortgage to William Aubrey from payment of it. -- province of Pennsylvania; town of Newcastle on Delaware and land within a radius of 12 miles from it, lying on the river Delaware; the river itself and islands therein; tract of land on Delaware river and Bay, lying 12 miles south of Newcastle, extending south to the Whorekills alias Capen Lopen. -- lands in Ireland: in the barony of Ibany or Barry Roe, county Cork, Munster.
