- Scope and ContentRecites Agreement 8 May 1732, between John, Thomas and Richard, relating to the seignory of the province and in which there is a clause that if either of the parties shall desire to sell his share, the others shall have the pre-emption or refusal thereof, and shall be able to purchase the share; this clause has been found of great inconvenience, since Thomas residing in America, and John and Richard in England, there is a great delay in giving pre-emption one to the other, and prospective buyers are discouraged. Therefore they agree to nullify that clause. Witnesses: John Samuel, Richard Budden, Benjamin Flower.
